BOX GIRDER

Cadre has detailed over 50 CIP Reinforced, CIP Prestressed Box Girders, Prestressed Box Beams and I-Girders bridges. Our experience enables us to begin detailing with minimal direction from our clients. This ability provides our clients flexibility with schedule and budget issues. Selected projects are:

American River Bridge at Lake Natoma - This project included 2 bridges with the longest being 690 meters. The main spans are variable depth, 100 meters long with decorative arches. Cadre helped prepare over 300 bridge and roadway plans for the city of Folsom.

I-88O Reconstruction Project - This project replaced the old double deck Cypress bridge that collapsed in the 1989 Loma-Prieta earthquake. This fast track project included several CIP Prestressed Box Girder bridges and Steel Girder frames over existing railroads. It was completed for Caltrans District 4 using their standards.

Loveridge Road OC - This bridge replaced the existing dual bridge crossing Route 4 in Contra Costa county. The project includes the reconstruction of Loveridge Road interchange, freeway auxilary lanes, and a median wide enough to accommodate mass transit.
