STEEL GIRDER
Cadre has detailed several Steel Plate Girder, Through Girder and Steel Box Girder bridges. Our unique experience detailing both new and retrofitted steel structures provides our clients the flexibility needed in today's engineering environment. Selected projects are:
I-88O Reconstruction Project - This project replaced the old double deck Cypress bridge that collapsed in the 1989 Loma-Prieta earthquake. This East Bay Viaduct-Off Ramp has 10 spans with variable widths crossing over existing railroad tracks. It was completed for Caltrans District 4.
East Issaquah Creek Crossing - This 150 meter long and 12 meter wide Steel Box Girder bridge spans an environmentally sensitive area of Issaquah Creek. Cadre was responsible for detailing plans for PS&E submittal adhering to WashDOT standards.
5400 South Railroad Crossing - This new Steel Through Girder bridge was built parallel to the existing structure which allowed double tracking of an existing alignment. Cadre was responsible for detailing plans for PS&E submittal adhering to UDOT standards.
